Elementary School Presentations

In addition to programs hosted at the ABCEEC, we also have a presentation that we take to elementary schools. This program is delivered via a PowerPoint presentation that is geared towards the 4th and 5th grade Virginia Standards of Learning. Not only is there excellent information about watersheds, wetlands, and Back Bay, but there are also many spectacular pictures of birds that migrate through the Refuge.  Many of these photos were taken by BBRF volunteer, Reese Lukei.  This school year (2002-2003), we presented this program to about 1,800 students with very positive feedback.
