The Back Bay Restoration Foundation's 20th Annual Flyway Feast was again a huge success. Everyone who attended this year’s Flyway Feast knows that it was a great year for the annual fundraiser. The weather could have been better, but the food, the music, the people, the auction items...they were all excellent. And if you had seen the generosity of those attending the event, you would never have guess that we were supposedly in a recession? 

We would like to thank all of those that took part in the auction and the raffle. With the funds generated by these events we can continue our programs of water monitoring, education and community involvement in the watersheds of Back Bay and the North Landing River, as well as our tram excursions into False Cape State Park through the Refuge. The income from the Flyway will also ensure the development and implementation of some exciting up and coming environmental education programs.

As always the selfless donations of personal time, Feast supplies, and auction and raffle items were all instrumental in continuing the successful tradition of this event. The Flyway Feast has become what it is because of the time and effort that our volunteers and members put forth for the betterment of BBRF. We owe a special debt of gratitude to Mr. Ogden Reid and Mr. Robert Halstead for allowing us to hold this annual event at the scenic Flyway Hunt Club. Once again, thanks to all those that attended and made the Flyway Feast an event to remember. We are looking forward to next year, and hope to see you at the 20th Annual Flyway Feast!!
