Dear Back Bay Supporter:

You are cordially invited to become a member of the Back Bay Restoration Foundation (BBRF). BBRF is organized to support our goals of restoring and enhancing the Back Bay watershed which covers 66,700 acres or 1/3 of the City of Virginia Beach. As we learned in the recent Back Bay Forum, the watershed is home to the greatest diversity of native plants and animals in the state of Virginia. Back Bay is a first class recreational, environmental, and educational resource to the entire region.

Your contributions will aid in sponsoring water quality monitoring, community education, habitat restoration, the Back Bay Tram, as well as other pollution prevention "best management practices" programs in the Back Bay watershed. All membership dues and contributions to BBRF are tax deductible and receipts will be mailed upon request.

General Membership is available for only $25.00 per year. Please consider one of the sponsorship levels which are explained on the back of this letter. All members will receive our newsletter which offers continuous updates on issues that directly affect the Back Bay watershed. You will also be invited to attend the BBRF membership meetings, as noted in the newsletter. These meetings will allow you to socialize with other members while enjoying a light buffet supper, learn about BBRF programs, and hear excellent presentations on Back Bay.
